James Herbert was a usual senior student of Faculty of Philology and Arts. He lived with his parents and had a lot of friends. Many of them were womanizers and everyday they had a new girl. But in spite of the proverb "A man is known by his friends" James had absolutely different outlook on life. He considered that a man should have only one woman and it would be her who was his only love and obsession. And he was looking for this only woman, but he couldn't find her. His friends didn't understand him and all the time they arranged dates for him with different girls and everytime girls were more and more beautiful. But everytime their attempts were failed, James was looking for serious relationships and a woman of his life, but that girls didn't suit him, because they were so called parties girls. His friends couldn't believe that James was a constant man.
Once James came back home very late after another party. He was tired and a little bit drunk, so he fell asleep at once. And he saw a wonderful dream. There was a girl, very beautiful one in white chiffon dress with red belt and she had red hair. She was gorgeous. When James woke up he couldn't forget his dream and that girl. James was a good artist and he painted wonderful. He didn't want to forget an image of the girl from his dream and he made a portrait of her. He was sure it was she - the only woman he was looking for and God sent him a sign. He looked at her picture everyday and he could feel the beating of his heart and step by step he falling in love with the image of the girl. He was obsessed about finding her. He was mad about this idea. His friends tried to persuade him from this insane idea, they said to him that he was drunk and it was impossible that the girl from his dream is the woman of his life. Besides, some of his friends Sam and Thomas were sure, the girl doesn't exist and they even made a bet to hundred bucks. But James kept his ground. And he wanted to find her at any rate. And he had a plan. He made a lot of copies of her portrait and below the picture he wrote his number and with the help of his friends he pasted them up all over the town. He hoped to find the mystery girl from his dream.
